Trivandrum, a hotspot of Civil Service Aspirants

Pub:

In 2012, Haritha Vijaya Kumar, a resident of Trivandrum, topped Civil Service Examination by securing the 1st Rank at the All India level.

Haritha not only broke several glass ceilings but also became an aspirational figure for the Malayali youth by breaking several myths, the most important one being that the civil service examination cannot be cleared without going to Delhi.

Over the next few years, aspirants from all over Kerala began camping in Trivandrum mostly for seeking guidance from fellow peers.

The founders of iLearn IAS understood that it was the lack of guidance that was hindering Malayalis from getting into the coveted service. Thus the institution was born with a vision of providing Personal Mentorship for every student.

Today, there are over 5,000 aspirants living in Trivandrum and studying for their dream.

Safety, especially for women, is something Trivandrum as a community is sensitive towards. Pink Police and Women’s Safety Infrastructure such as the Hotline number and CCTV are the top priority for the city police.

Paying Guests and Hostels cater to the needs of aspirants who are new to the city. Once they form their study circle, they rent out a house or an apartment for affordability, flexibility, and freedom.

There are over 20 Reading Rooms in Trivandrum which is an ideal space to focus and study. Each reading room is also a hotspot of intellectual discussions and debates.

The IFFK or the International Film Festival of Kerala is a place to meet like-minded individuals. Study life can be balanced with entertainment events and Trivandrum is filled with activities to engage in.
