Can I prepare for IAS while pursuing a correspondence degree?
Preparing for civil services is more of a lifestyle than a chore. If we look at candidates who have successfully cleared the examination, they weren’t necessarily the most intelligent or the smartest but they were the most consistent.
Reading and analyzing the newspaper daily, covering the syllabus brick by brick, having an effective revision plan, and attending tests regularly are a few of the traits successful candidates have.
It’s the little things that matter.
Preparing for civil services while pursuing a correspondence degree is an extremely effective strategy because of the following reasons.
1. It gives you ample time to prepare for civil services instead of engaging in a full-fledged campus life. Delay your campus life gratification for LBSNAA.
2. A candidate would be well prepared to write the examination at the age of 21. Entry into civil services at an earlier age guarantees faster career progression.
3. If the options chosen for civil services and the correspondence degree subject are the same, a substantial amount of workload is reduced.
The training imparted by iLearn IAS is fine-tuned not only to maximize results but also to make sure that when our students become Officers, they will have the necessary skill set to do their best work in the IAS.
Therefore, planning ahead and preparing for civil services while pursuing a correspondence degree is a smart option.
