“I was worried I would mess up the exam because the morning session was so complicated. And it happened just like I feared”.
Trivandrum native Roja S Rajan has nothing much to say to the fellow civil service aspirants rather than to focus on finishing the exam as long as they are in the exam hall. Roja lost her first attempt just because the morning session was not that good and she got anxious over it.
It was the second attempt that took Roja to the rank list and by that time she had overcome every fear that get in her way. In this attempt, Roja secured 108th All India Rank and became the topper among women candidates in Kerala. Roja shares her strategy in cracking UPSC and her experience with the coaching in iLearn.
Team ‘Always ready to help ‘
iLearn has a great team of mentors that we can always approach without any hesitation. They were so patient in correcting the papers and giving feedback to each student. No matter how many times you approach them for corrections they clear it. iLearn’s mock interviews also were of great help.
Strategy
Answer writing was my priority during the preparations. I made sure to write answers daily and it was a great relief, to be honest. Understand the syllabus, Take regular tests, Get feedback, and Repeat – this is the strategy I followed.
Roja’s optional was Anthropology. She joined iLearn after completing Btech.
